Offers to match and incentivise donations

  • Free of charge marketing to get people to your establishment

  • £5 off a minimum spend would be great, one discount per booking and we think it should be done online.

  • Donors contact us if they want the offer - we are not making the code public, they get a voucher from us to show on their phones to your team.

  • Every £1500 raised by all donors, we have a prize draw, if your venue chosen we will come and purchase a £100 gift card from you.

Free of Charge Social Impact Marketing - Encouraging Young professionals to support good causes in Bristol

Pretty straightforward win win.
Pretty straightforward win win.

BACKGROUND

Since 2012, the Athlete purpose group, Legacy 300 has raised over £658K in donations for good causes by hosting experience days that charities have auctioned places off, greatly multiplying the entry cost, to illustrate this please look at the story of 14 year old Rosie G www.legacy300.com/blog  In short: all donations are multiplied greatly (lifetime charities have received 314%.)

Whilst auctions are still robust, I don’t really need to tell you that the current economic mood is a bit downbeat, fundraising through Just Giving type pages is promoted with an apologetic air and no incentives, so we wish to highlight a more rewarding fundraising model, that affords the opportunity for participants to reduce the cost of their entry by £10 for every £30 raised also reward donations and provide a free of charge platform for leisure companies to provide social impact marketing to increase footfall, creating a social impact helping support numerous good causes in the City.

Meet the West Country Medallists

In June over 200 mainly Young Professionals will be participating in a charity challenge hosted by GB Medallists, they will be encouraging people to sponsor them to support good causes and give participants the bonus points and time to help beat the host GB Olympic Medallists. A general rule of thumb will see participants targeting 10 supporters, so around 2000 sponsors drawn from their office colleagues and network.

Incentivising Fundraising for their Supporters – Current situation

Everyone who donates up to £20 currently gets matching in house discounts on our Athlete Experiences and Partners Events, as well as being entered into regular prize draws every £1.5K raised by all participants (see the Rewards section of www.crowdfunder.co.uk/gbcharitydays  .

We would also look to promote a £100 Gift Card, from each donor supporting Bristol establishment, which if chosen by the winner, we will buy from your establishment. Happy to elaborate further on that.

How you can help Social Impact Marketing: Free of Charge

Are there any existing / planned marketing offers you can make in a similar vain?

Offering a £5-£10 discount on a minimum spend at your establishment, to add further incentives to increase donations supporting the widest range of good causes but of course generating footfall. The period of offer ideally would be till the 20th June 2025, to help encourage early donations.

 Implementation

I envisage that this would be a discount code for online bookings and restricted to one booking per customer, which we would issue to donors on request to try and maintain the integrity of the offers,  but would be happy to entertain any ideas you might have.
