GOOD CAUSES RESOURCE GUIDE

Your guide to how you can generate funds from Legacy 300

Legacy 300 is a project created with GB Athletes which enables people to support good causes through participants on exclusive individual and team participation events.

Over 2200 individuals have participated on these days, mainly buying their places through auction and donating £505,250 to good causes without any good cause having to spend any money.

AUCTION:

Legacy 300 delivers VIP, exclusive, unique, participation sports events for individuals and teams which charities buy places from us only once they have sold them.

Each individual or team place is paid for by the participant and they make a donation on top (always add 30% minimum to our reserve price). You keep ALL the money raised above the reserve price.

RETAIL:

You can retail these places (Virgin Experiences do this very successfully grossing over £200,000) simply cut and paste text and make your supporters aware of the opportunity. Remember to add a minimum 30% mark up for your good cause.

If no-one is interested, then there is no cost and no risk.

FUNDRAISING CHALLENGES: NEW FOR 2021

Following true to the modern sporting idiom that money buys success, we will be rewarding those participants who fundraise for their chosen good cause with sporting rewards. There are two opportunities to get these rewards.

1) Auction of UK wide sporting experiences and memorabilia will see one bonus run/goal/try per match or time bonuses for every £100 raised this way for your good cause. See as an example

 https://www.facebook.com/events/445557209931337

Legacy 300 will create the page for the participant  to promote but payments must go directly to your good cause for maximum integrity.

There is no cost, risk just an obligation to promote and it has since 2012 raised over £505K for good causes.

2) Just Giving type page for direct donations to your good cause will see one bonus run/goal/try per match or time bonuses for every £250 raised this way for your good cause.
