Team members will have access to a place on a fun VIP cycling experience that you can participate in, gift to a colleague or friend, or even donate to a good cause of your choosing.

 

If you choose to participate, you compete in your very limited edition Purpose Peloton Jersey against fellow participants and in a once in a lifetime head-to-head against a GB Medallist from Paris in Flying Lap Beat the Medallist competitions. This is where the purpose element comes in, you can CHOOSE to utilise the challenge against a GB Medallist to get time bonuses, to be used both on the indoor track and the Road Circuit, by fundraising for your chosen good cause.

On the day you will be accessing the Athlete Q and A’s and taking home signed mementoes Each session comes with coaching and all equipment. Each Velo Park date will run alongside the Meet the Medallist social experience hosted by GB Athletes from other sports, with Q and A’s , signing and selfie sessions plus fun sporting and non-sporting challenges.

On the day the formatted experience includes:

• Session at the Velodrome  track for 75 minutes for yourself or gifted to another.

• Option to have an additional session on the Road Circuit (you can bring your own bike), or you can bring four non cycling guests for the Meet the Medallist experience.

• Your own personalised very limited edition Purpose Peloton Racing Jersey.

• Head to Head Flying Lap and Time Trails against the host GB Athlete in your cycling Beat the Medallist challenge

• Full professional assistance throughout the day with trained coaches.

• Athlete hosted medal ceremony for the fastest lap / individual pursuit winners.

• Exclusive athlete signed mementoes for you.

• Photos with the Athlete and of the riders in action. 

• Talk and Q and A with the attending Cycling Medallist.

• Additional free of charge access to the days Meet the Medallist activities hosted by six GB Paris 2024 Medallists from other sports plus four guests.

• Q and A with two of the medallists

• Selfies and Signage session in the Medallist Maze with all the Medallists.

• 20+ non sporting and sporting activities to try and surpass the times and targets set by the days GB Athletes.

We are also creating Pelotons for Derby / Glasgow / Manchester / Newport.

PURPOSE PELOTON ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF THE DAY: 

• Purpose of the group is to highlight fundraising and philanthropy through LinkedIn and Instagram pages. 

• Highlight the achievements of members and the Athlete Ambassadors.

• Expand the aims and objectives of the group to meet the expectations of members this may include a social networking event away from the Velodrome.

• This could include discounts on events and cycling related equipment / apparel which will be posted in the LinkedIn Group and not spammed.

• Membership comes with discounts on extra cyclists and on other GB Athlete Experience Days.

• Membership runs from now until 1st December 2025.

 

OPTIONAL FUNDRAISING OBJECTIVES / INCENTIVES:

• Aim to raise £500 on your GB Athlete hosted day which is you can see by visiting https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/libbyvsgb can be done by a student.

• You can use a Just Giving page or even make a donation yourself to this sum, however, greater rewards for your charity, supporters and yourself, lie within the heart of the project.

• This way enables us to provide all your supporters with a matching discount up to £25 on their own Athlete Days (not Meet the Medallists) or hospitality events.

• They will also join the regular draws for places on Experience Days / Event Tickets or signed memorabilia.

• Raise £600 this way and you will have an infield Hospitality place at 3 Day London October 2025.

COST OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

• £350 + vat

• This will come with a members pack and a personalised message from an Athlete Ambassador sent10th December 2024 to the designated member.

• Racing Jersey will be available on your chosen day.
