PARTICIPATE AND DONATE:
THE 2016 MEDAL TABLE
THE CSR 'OLYMPICS'
With the nation soon to be fixated on the Rio 2016 Medals Table, GB Medallists and Athletes have launched a CSR Medals Table for companies to stage their own “CSR Olympics” throughout 2016.
To mark Rio 2016, the GB Athletes involved with Legacy 300, are launching a unique CSR initiative called The Fundraising Games, and are looking to award medals to those corporates that fundraise for the corporate’s chosen good causes using the Athletes unique Individual and Team Challenge Athlete Participation Events which have already netted good causes £307,250.
Fifteen companies have already won medals, and they will be leading the Medal Table when this is officially launched on Monday 23rd May 2016.
Individual philanthropists within companies are also eligible to win medals for their company, and will serve to highlight the often overlooked contribution made by employees independent to their company CSR role.
There are options for companies to co-host pro-am sports tournaments with the GB Athletes and also companies to donate experiences to their chosen good cause to leverage. Organisers state that this all works without any financial input from the corporates.
Medals engraved with the signatures of 2012 Gold Medallists will be awarded for companies to reward individuals, and corporate rewards include for the company that tops the Medal Table, the chance to participate in an exclusive Team Bonding day with the GB Athletes.
Recent experiences have been hosted by Rowing Olympic Gold Medallists Alex Gregory and Andy Triggs Hodge, Track Cycling Olympic Gold Medallist Dani King and Olympic Gold Medallist Tim Baillee hosts the White Water Rafting and post Rio 2016, it is anticipated that the nation’s newest sporting heroes will be delivering further experience days post Rio.
