19TH SEPTEMBER 2024: THE HOMECOMING SOCIAL IMPACT DAY
Unique activity and social team building events hosted by GB Athletes.
THREE COMPANIES HAVE BOOKED THEIR OWN DAYS so we are looking at ensuring we now have the best incentive for a shared inclusive team building social event, which will be hosted by up to 10 GB Medallists from Paris 2024.
The two Cycling hosts are detailed above, we will be announcing further hosts via our socials
Each company of 15+ colleagues and clients will have their own exclusive hospitality and network areas to make it a truly memorable away day with plenty of non sporting and sporting activities.

Fun activations on the day, each come with the chance to win a medal presented throughout the day by an actual medallist

Whilst some of you will be taking part in challenges hosted by medal winning GB Athletes. Designed to fundraise for your chosen good cause.

The five hour event will see your group get to participate in non sporting activities with the GB Athletes and fellow participants,.

Throughout the afternoon your area will be visited by the GB Medallists to chat, pose for photos and sign Homecoming souvenirs

The day will create a fund for good causes to receive free places on GB Athlete Days to multiply in value at auction, adding to £635K already raised for good causes by these GB Athlete Days.

YOUR OWN HOSPITALITY AREA / ATHLETE VISITS
Homecoming provides each company, with their own hospitality area which you can pimp up to your desire. This is to be your base for the afternoon and will be visited throughout the day in rotation by the host medallists. The chance to chat, pose for photos and get event merchandise signed by the Athletes. Each visit can be structured if you have any corporate needs. Your package comes with a Hospitality credit with the option to add. This does lend itself to unique client entertainment.
SME packages will be part of the Team Homecoming area with the additional networking opportunity that brings.
YOUR FAMILY CAN JOIN IN THE FUN:
They too get to enjoy Meeting the Medallists, seated in the stands they get to hear from and have a Q and A with two of the GB Medallists.
They then get to come down for Selfies and Signing sessions and also get to have a go at some of the fun activities and see if they can beat your totals:
After school sessions start at 4pm / 5pm and 6pm and last for around 1 hour 45 minutes

REWARDS GENERATED BY THE FREE OF CHARGE SOCIAL IMPACT PARTNERSHIP WITH GB ATHLETES
There is the option to reduce the cost of Homecoming whilst creating a social impact with the GB Athletes.
BACKGROUND: The GB Athletes have since 2012 raised over £610K for good causes through the hosting of Athlete Experiences, good causes take places on GB Athlete Experience Days (entry fees) and risk free multiply them at auction. Despite this, the vast majority of Good causes want free places.
THE PROPOSAL: When donating to your chosen good causes give them the GB Athletes creating free places on our days for the good cause to sell through auctions, challenge listings or direct to supporters. Each place sold will generate greater PR for you and enhance your donated total, risk free to the good cause. There is no workload save for social media reactions, no additional cost and the most work a good cause has to do is cut and paste supplied materials. We will reduce the entry fee for Homecoming by £1 for every £2 allocated to the initiative and multiplied by good causes through auctions etc
